The architect graduated from the Santa María University will be able to provide his services in both the institutional and service sectors. They will have a basic training that allows them to adapt to changes that occur at the professional level and in the participation in interdisciplinary projects. In addition to these characteristics, it is in the ability to act with knowledge of the professional, commercial, financial and legal contexts in the area of architecture, understand the different types of contracting architectural services; is aware of the details of the construction and promotion sectors, the financial dynamics of real estate investments and equipment management; be aware of business principles and their application to the development of built environments, as well as project management and the operation of professional consultancies; Possesses knowledge of professional ethics and codes of conduct applicable to the practice of architecture, and of the legal responsibilities of the architect with respect to matters such as registration of professional practice, the practice of the profession, and construction contracts.
